Having just played yesterday, the Kenesaw Blue Devils will get right back to it and host the Elm Creek Buffaloes at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kenesaw is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.3 points per game this season.
Kenesaw fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Lawrence-Nelson on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raiders. The Blue Devils' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jravin Suck, who posted eight points and eight rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Maddox Wagoner was another key player, going 6 of 14 en route to 14 points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elm Creek). They strolled past Axtell with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 75-59. The win was nothing new for the Buffaloes as they're now sitting on three straight.
Elm Creek's win came from a few key players Kenesaw will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jeremiah Shoemaker, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 21 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Quin Oberg, who almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine rebounds.
Elm Creek smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2023.
Kenesaw's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Elm Creek, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Kenesaw hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 55.3 points per game. However, it's not like Elm Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging 58.7 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Kenesaw ended up a good deal behind Elm Creek when the teams last played back in January of 2024, losing 56-39. Will Kenesaw have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
