Scales Mound extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Aidan Soppe. The Hornets walked away with a 63-51 win over the Benton Zephyrs on Tuesday with plenty of help from Soppe, who went 10-for-19 en route to 27 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.

Scales Mound's record now sits at 5-1. As for Benton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scales Mound will be home for the holidays to greet West Carroll at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Hornets' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. Benton will take on Argyle in a holiday battle at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
