Fairfield posted their biggest win since February 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They breezed by the Teague Lions to the tune of 73-45. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Bryce Bates and Carter Stacks certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Bates went 5 of 9 on his way to 13 points, while Stacks posted 11 points. The dominant performance gave Bates a new career-high in points. Jackdaniels Reed was another key player, putting up two points and six boards.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Teague, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Fairfield will welcome Buffalo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fairfield is on a three-game streak of home losses, Buffalo a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change. As for Teague, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Teague Lions challenge the Westwood Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Westwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Teague surely won't give up without a fight.
