Beachside can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 49-0 victory over North Florida Educational Institute. Given Beachside's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 145th, while North Florida Educational Institute is ranked 357th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Beachside found their leader in underclassman Edward Jordan, who threw for 178 yards and four touchdowns. Cohen Beebe did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 81 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 42 points the game before, Providence School were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a serious blow against Trinity Christian Academy, falling 40-9. It was the first time this season that Providence School let down their fans at home.
Beachside's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43.33 points. As for Providence School, their loss dropped their record down to 7-2.
