Mia Best made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three runs, and one RBI. Those two triples gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Cedar Ridge got a massive performance out of Qiaura Rogers, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Rogers a new career-high. Raegan Remaly also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
