Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Red Rock). They strolled past the Grand Canyon Phantoms with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 65-51. The Scorpions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Phantoms, too.

Several Phantoms players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryder Lyle, who posted eight points along with 17 rebounds and three blocks. Lyle has been hot recently, having posted ten or more boards the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Mase Begay, who put up eight points and 13 rebounds.

Red Rock's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Grand Canyon, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Red Rock has already played their next matchup, a 65-33 defeat against Fountain Hills on the 29th. As for Grand Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 89-44 loss against Joseph City on the 24th.
