South Lakes won against Herndon  last Thursday with two  goals and they decided to stick to that  goal total again  on Monday. The South Lakes Seahawks' defense stepped up to hand the George C. Marshall Statesmen  a   2-0 shutout. Winning may never get old, but South Lakes sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of 
 Mary-Caitlyn Laquindanum and 
 Emily Inman, who scored both of South Lakes' goals.  The pair have combined for a total of five so far this season.
 South Lakes' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for George C. Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
 South Lakes will be playing in front of their home fans against Washington-Liberty at 7:15  p.m.  on Thursday. As for George C. Marshall, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Centreville at 7:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
