Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Groveport-Madison). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Logan Chieftains 44-13.   Carson Tootle and  Jim Carver certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss.  Tootle threw for 103 yards and two  TDs, while  Carver picked up 87 receiving yards and a pair of  scores.
Groveport-Madison is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 29.2 points over those games. As for Logan,  they are  on  an  18-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
 Looking ahead, Groveport-Madison will be playing at home against Canal Winchester  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Cruisers will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31  points  in their last four matchups. As for Logan, they will head out to  challenge Teays Valley  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Chieftains will be up against the Vikings' rather soft defense (which has allowed 27.11  points per  game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
