The Monrovia Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Cloverdale Clovers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Monrovia breezed by Cloverdale at home to the tune of 71-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Monrovia.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Monrovia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hayden Najera, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Najera has scored all season. Tucker Rahn was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Monrovia has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Cloverdale, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.
Monrovia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-51 win vs. Owen Valley on the 9th. Cloverdale has also already played their next game, a 63-27 defeat against North Putnam on the 8th.
