Even though the Peach County Trojans scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, the Northside Eagles still came out on top. Northside took their contest against Peach County 64-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northside.
Chastan Brown continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 20 rebounds. He hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Keron Milton jr. was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Northside's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-14. As for Peach County, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Warner Robins at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th. One thing working in Warner Robins' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 11 matches. As for Peach County, they will head out on the road to challenge Upson-Lee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Upson-Lee will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
