The Millbrook Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Jordan 37-31. Millbrook was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Jordan apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Maika Jones, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Ariana Morris, who scored 8 points.
Millbrook has fallen quite a ways from their 20-8 record last season and are now at 0-3. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 1-2.
Millbrook will be playing at home against Holly Springs at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. Holly Springs is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Jordan, they will head out on the road to face off against Orange at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
