Make it ten blowout wins for the Valley View Eagles this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Moreno Valley 72-32 at home. Winning may never get old, but Valley View sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Valley View found their leader in underclassman Charles Knight, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Knight hasn't dropped below 16 points for 11 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Maurice Lynch, who scored 12 points.
Valley View pushed their record up to 17-11 with that victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.6 points per game. As for Moreno Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-15.
Valley View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Moreno Valley also has no future games currently scheduled.
