Softball Recap: Lovelady Wins Going Away Against Oakwood

While Lovelady put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Oakwood. Lovelady blew past Oakwood 18-0. Considering the Lions have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lovelady has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. Oakwood is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Lovelady will have a chance to go back-to-back against Oakwood: the pair will be back at it again later today.
