Two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Frederic, but their most recent game may have softened the blow. They took their match against Mellen on Saturday by a conclusive 68-36 score. Frederic were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win bumped Frederic's record up to 1-2. The loss dropped Mellen's record to 1-3.
Next week Frederic take on Prairie Farm at 7:00 PM. Mellen will stay at home against Winter/Birchwood.
