The Kennedy Cougars suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They suffered a rough 79-57 defeat at the hands of Grant. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Kennedy has suffered against Grant since January 30, 2019.
Despite the loss, Kennedy still got an impressive performance from Noah Hayes II, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hayes II has scored all season. Taylor Shirley was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and four blocks.
Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Grant, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Laguna Creek the next time they take the court. Kennedy will head out to face Laguna Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Grant will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
