Having just played yesterday, the Haskell Indians will jump right back in to play the Forsan Buffaloes at 2:20 p.m. on Friday. Haskell is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
On Thursday, Haskell ended up a good deal behind Valley and lost 46-28. Haskell has not had much luck with Valley recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Forsan, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-40 loss to Knox City on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Forsan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 835th, while Knox City is ranked 348th).
Haskell's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Forsan, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Haskell strolled past Forsan when the teams last played back in February of 2020 by a score of 60-43. Will Haskell repeat their success, or does Forsan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
