On Friday, The Polo Marcos faced the West Prairie/Southeastern in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Polo put the hurt on West Prairie/Southeastern with a sharp 40-16 victory. The result was nothing new for Polo, who have now won six matches by 24 points or more so far this season.
West Prairie/Southeastern's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Austin Nelson, who rushed for 110 yards on only 13 carries.
Polo is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for West Prairie/Southeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
