Rolla HomeSchool and Maranatha Baptist Academy are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Rolla HomeSchool unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak dating back to last season on Monday. They were dealt a 73-43 defeat at the hands of Mid-Missouri HomeSchool.
Meanwhile, Maranatha Baptist Academy pushed their score all the way to 74 on December 1st, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 75-74 to Aurora Christian Academy. Maranatha Baptist Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The losing side was boosted by Sebastian Rush, who scored 36 points. The contest was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Clarence Brown, who scored 18 points.
Rolla HomeSchool's record is now 1-1. Maranatha Baptist Academy's record is now 4-2.
Rolla HomeSchool skirted past Maranatha Baptist Academy 60-57 in their previous matchup back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Rolla HomeSchool since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
