College Park has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 27 points or more this season. They blew past Grand Oaks 66-39 at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-18.
Aiden Buckmon was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of College Park's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalyn Johnson, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Clear Falls' 28-8 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They lost to Deer Park on the road by a decisive 62-48 margin on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Clear Falls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 938th, while Deer Park is ranked 170th).
College Park pushed their record up to 6-0 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33 points. As for Clear Falls, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.
