After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marquez, The Manual Arts Toilers were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 38-6 victory over Jefferson. The result was nothing new for Manual Arts, who have now won four matchups by 22 points or more so far this season.
Dominque Lamb was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 181 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Lamb was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaun Black, who rushed for 13 yards and a touchdown.
Manual Arts' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Marcus Davis and his three sacks.
Manual Arts' victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 43 points. As for Jefferson, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which is still a better percentage than their 1-7 record this season.
Manual Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jefferson will look to defend their home field on Friday against Santee at 7:30 p.m.
