The Falcons blew past Providence Classical 65-39 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Falcons, who have now won three games in a row.
Arborbrook Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Ezra Briles, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 19 points and five steals, and Monroe Simmons, who posted 14 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Thanks to that strong game, Briles now owns an excellent 42.3% three-point shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Ethan Jones, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for North Hills Christian on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Covenant Classical out of the water with a 73-32 final score. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Arborbrook Christian Academy better keep an eye on Maverick Ball. He was instrumental in North Hills Christian's win, shooting 75% from the field en route to 29 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Adarion Hawkins, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 10 points.
Arborbrook Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for North Hills Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Everything went Arborbrook Christian Academy's way against North Hills Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2016, as Arborbrook Christian Academy made off with a 70-48 win.
