Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Collins). They enjoyed a cozy 65-49 victory over the Sumrall Bobcats on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Collins found their leader in sophomore Tiana Coleman, who shot 73% from beyond the arc to rack up 27 points. Another player making a difference was Quanesha Magee, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Sumrall had strong showings from Talasha Harvey, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards, and Ella Robertson, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine assists. The matchup was Robertson's third in a row with at least 17 points.

Collins' win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Sumrall, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coming up, Collins will be playing at home against Mount Olive at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sumrall, they will head out to square off against West Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
