Claymont scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Maysville Panthers. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Claymont's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Maysville, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Claymont will face off against Indian Valley at 2:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Maysville and Utica will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
