Alexander extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Abbi Ohms. The Spartans blew past the Athens Bulldogs 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Ohms, who had ten digs and two assists. Ohms is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least ten every time she's taken the court this season.

Alexander never let Athens on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15, 27-25.

Alexander's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Athens, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-3.

Alexander didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Huntington on the 13th. As for Athens, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Fairfield Union on the 15th.
