While Blanco put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Comfort. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Bobcats/Deer. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Blanco is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Comfort, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-11.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blanco will challenge rival Ingram Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 3.2, the Warriors 2.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Comfort is set to square off against their familiar foe Llano at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
