Meanwhile, Catholic Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They fell  10-7 to Marquette University.
 Catholic Memorial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cal Weber, who  went 1-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  RBI.
 Union Grove now  has a losing record of 1-2. As for Catholic Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
