The Crisp Academy Wildcats will stay at home for another game and welcome the Grace Christian Academy Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Crisp Academy will be strutting in after a win while Grace Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.
Crisp Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Furlow Charter School with a sharp 65-41 victory. That 24 points margin sets a new team best for Crisp Academy this season.
Crisp Academy found their leader in underclassman Reese Reed, who scored 25 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Ellenberg, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Grace Christian Academy lost to Southwest Georgia Academy at home by a decisive 64-45 margin on Monday.
Crisp Academy's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Grace Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
Crisp Academy opened the new year with a less-than-successful 74-61 defeat to Grace Christian Academy. Can Crisp Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
