Make it eight blowout wins for the John Marshall Justices this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Hermitage 83-32 at home. The victory was nothing new for John Marshall as they're now sitting on six straight.
John Marshall's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Latrell Allmond, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Allmond is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. Dominique Bailey was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds.
John Marshall's victory was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 40.14 points. As for Hermitage, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
John Marshall will play host again and welcome Deep Run, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Deep Run focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. As for Hermitage, they will head out on the road to challenge Highland Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Highland Springs' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last seven games.
