The Yulee Hornets entered their tilt with the Menendez Falcons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Yulee didn't even let Menendez onto the board and left with a 18-0 victory on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Yulee also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Shamarion Gibbs was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.
Yulee's victory was their fourth straight at home , which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.8 points per game. As for Menendez, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Yulee has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Keystone Heights at 7:30 p.m. on November 10th. Keystone Heights will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Yulee is ranked 163rd). Menendez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
