The Valor Preparatory Academy Knights will look to defend their home court on Friday against Harmony School of Innovation at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Valor Preparatory Academy has three straight wins, Harmony School of Innovation has 14 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Valor Preparatory Academy can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 48-18 victory over Providence Prep at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 30-10.
Valor Preparatory Academy found their leader in underclassman Elyse Mason, who scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mason has scored at least a third of Valor Preparatory Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Ellie Mathis, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, Harmony School of Innovation took a serious blow against Texas Wind back in December of 2023, falling 59-12. Harmony School of Innovation was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.
Valor Preparatory Academy's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-5. As for Harmony School of Innovation, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-8.
