Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only The Clackamas Cavaliers walked away with it. Everything went their way against Lincoln on Friday as Clackamas made off with a 28-7 win. Considering Clackamas has won four contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Jaxson Decker was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 204 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Baker, who picked up 63 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Clackamas is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Clackamas will face off against Newberg at TBD on Friday. Newberg will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
