Eastern Hancock has gone a perfect 7-0 against Cowan recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Eastern Hancock Royals will head out to take on the Cowan Blackhawks at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Hancock has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Thursday, Eastern Hancock didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Christel House, but they still walked away with a 63-58 victory.

Cowan got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against Wes-Del by a score of 60-52 on Saturday. The Blackhawks didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Cowan's win came from a few key players Eastern Hancock will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Luke Garrett, who went 6 for 9 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds. Those seven boards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lucas Terrell, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 16 points.

Eastern Hancock's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Cowan, their win bumped their record up to 2-11.

Eastern Hancock didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cowan when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 54-50 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eastern Hancock since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
