The Harvest Christian Academy Lions can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They blew past Somonauk/Leland 61-40. Harvest Christian Academy pushed the score to 53-33 by the end of the third, a deficit Somonauk/Leland had little chance of recovering from.
Daphne Brown continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with six assists and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ellie Semerau, who scored 12 points along with six assists.
Harvest Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Somonauk/Leland, they dropped their record down to 7-23 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Harvest Christian Academy will play host again and welcome Schaumburg Christian, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Harvest Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Friday. Somonauk/Leland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
