Softball Recap: Barbe's Luck Changes for the Better on Monday

Barbe had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Lake Charles College Prep Trailblazers on Monday. The Buccaneers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th.

Barbe's win bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Lake Charles College Prep, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Looking ahead, Barbe will host Bell City at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Charles College Prep, they are taking a road trip to take on Starks at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.14 runs per game on average), something the Trailblazers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
