Lindale is 6-1 against Mineola since February of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Lindale Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mineola Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. Lindale will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
Lindale put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Grand Saline a 12-0 shutout. Given Lindale's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while Grand Saline is ranked 708th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Mineola came up short against Chapel Hill on Friday and fell 4-2. Mineola has struggled against Chapel Hill recently, as their contest on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Lindale has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5-1 record this season. As for Mineola, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.
Everything went Lindale's way against Mineola in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 as Lindale made off with a 9-0 victory. Does Lindale have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mineola turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
