Patrick Johnson II in the first quarter, the Trainers led 30-0 at the half.
McKinley Tech expanded its lead to 38 points entering the fourth quarter. MT scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by
Kenneth Matthews to
Danzel Brown.
McKinley Tech's standout player in the win was Matthews. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
McKinley Tech has struggled this season, allowing 31.2 points per game. However, McKinley Tech's defense stepped up, holding the Ramblers well below their season average of 10.8 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Eastern, which notched a 18-6 victory over Cardozo in its previous outing.
