Last Monday, things could have been worse for Spencerville Adventist Academy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-39 loss to Field. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Spencerville Adventist Academy in their matchups with Field: they've now lost three in a row.
The losing side was boosted by CJ Jenkins, who scored 13 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that he grabbed two or more steals.
Meanwhile, Avalon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 74-44 loss at the hands of Seton. While losing is never fun, Avalon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 118th in Maryland, while Seton is ranked 23rd in Virginia).
Spencerville Adventist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Avalon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
