The Kent Denver Sun Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 33 points or more this season. They breezed by D'Evelyn at home to the tune of 95-62. The win was nothing new for Kent Denver as they're now sitting on five straight.
Kent Denver found their leader in underclassman Caleb Fay, who scored 28 points along with seven rebounds. The game was Fay's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Nicholas Buchenau was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 13 rebounds.
D'Evelyn lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Taj Kumar, who scored 13 points. The contest was Kumar's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Colehour, who scored 15 points.
Kent Denver's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for D'Evelyn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Kent Denver will be home for the holidays to greet Peak to Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Peak to Peak's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. D'Evelyn will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pomona at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
