The Lyman Eagles posted their closest victory yet this season on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Lander Valley out 40-37. That's another feather in the cap for Lyman, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Among those leading the charge was BriLee Bradshaw, who scored 14 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Payton Anderson, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Lyman now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Lander Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Lyman won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Evanston on January 19th. Evanston is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Lander Valley on the road again on Friday and play against Pinedale at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Pinedale focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
