Basketball Recap: North Marion Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

North Marion picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Olympic Heights Lions by a score of 58-49.

Coy Sizemore continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 of 12 en route to 25 points. Those 25 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lamont Sweeting JR, who posted eight points and five rebounds.

Despite the loss, Olympic Heights still got an impressive performance from Jake Harbatkin, who went 8 for 16 on his way to 21 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Wigodner, who earned eight points.

North Marion is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Olympic Heights, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-5.

North Marion will head out to challenge Belleview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Marion is facing Belleview at the right time seeing as Belleview is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Olympic Heights has already played their next contest (against Braddock), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
