The Ridgeland-Hardeeville Jaguars can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 45-41 W over Allendale-Fairfax. The victory was just what Ridgeland-Hardeeville needed coming off of a 63-42 defeat in their prior match.
Leading Ridgeland-Hardeeville to victory were Jordan Sander and Poncie Capers. Sander scored 11 points along with six steals, while Capers scored 24 points along with five assists and five steals. Capers continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Allendale-Fairfax, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Ridgeland-Hardeeville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Colleton County at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. Allendale-Fairfax will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Whale Branch at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
