Shawn Simeon Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Naples got the W thanks in part to Shawn Simeon playing the best football he has all season. Simeon rushed for 303 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.1 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 93 yards.
If the past is any indication, Simeon could be in store for another big game when he takes on Port Charlotte on Friday. Simeon rushed for 387 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per carry the last time he and the Pirates duked it out back in November of 2023.

Victor Jenkins was a major factor in South Fort Myers's win over Clewiston on Friday. Jenkins turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 160 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack, forcing a fumble, and making eight total tackles.
South Fort Myers now has a winning record of 4-3. Jenkins and South Fort Myers will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dunbar at 7:30 p.m.

Ifeanyi (Ike) Perry Goes Supernova in Port Charlotte Win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Ifeanyi (Ike) Perry stepped things up a notch to give Port Charlotte the 'W'. Nobody could stop (Ike) Perry as he rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry.
For the season, (Ike) Perry has run in 11 touchdowns while averaging 118.4 rushing yards per game.
