Maud lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mallorie Bishop, who scored ten points. That was a full 37% of Maud's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chesni Martin, who scored seven points.
Detroit's victory bumped their record up to 9-19. As for Maud, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Detroit will take on Clarksville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Clarksville has insisted on making their lastfour contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-1 during that stretch of close contests. As for Maud, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bowie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
