Leading Smithsburg to victory were Skyla Mastronardi and Claire Bono. Mastronardi scored 21 points, while Bono scored 23 points. The game was Mastronardi's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Maren McFarland was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Smithsburg and bumps their season record up to 7-3. As for Clear Spring, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Smithsburg will look to defend their home court on Friday against Governor Thomas Johnson at 7:00 p.m. As for Clear Spring, they will head out on the road to face off against Allegany on Monday.
