It was fun while it lasted, but Springboro's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Tuesday. They fell 67-55 to the Springfield Wildcats. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Springboro fell to 4-1. As for Springfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springboro will host Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Springboro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Fairmont likes a good challenge. As for Springfield, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Centerville at 7:30 p.m. Centerville will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Springfield surely won't give up without a fight.
