Messalonskee will challenge Gorham on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
Last Friday, Messalonskee were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 42-46 to Hampden.
Meanwhile, their game two weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Gorham, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. Everything went their way against Mt. Ararat as they made off with a 47-24 victory. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Gorham's flat performance the match before.
Gorham's win lifted them to 2-2 while Messalonskee's defeat dropped them down to 0-4. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
