Basketball Game Preview: Barrington Eagles vs. Tolman Tigers

The Barrington Eagles will head out to take on the Tolman Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Barrington is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 93-46 win over Johnston. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Caleb Satisfield, who posted 26 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Rigamonti, who had 19 points.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Tolman duked it out withJohnston on Monday. Tolman came out on top against Johnston by a score of 55-48.

Barrington better keep an eye on John Hilaire. He was instrumental in Tolman's win, almost dropping a double-double on 26 points and nine boards. Hilaire is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Kingston Carvalho was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Barrington is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Tolman, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Barrington hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 65.2 points per game. However, it's not like Tolman struggles in that department as they've been averaging 56.1 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.

Barrington beat Tolman 65-55 when the teams last played back in March of 2020. Will Barrington repeat their success, or does Tolman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
