The Rogers Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Thrall Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rogers is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
Rogers fell victim to Franklin and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 7-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Camdon Bartek made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Thrall faced off against Fayetteville on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 12-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Jack Gustafson made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over four innings pitched. Gustafson was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Bryce Brinkmeyer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Weston Smiley also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Thrall always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.
Thrall's record now sits at 5-9-1. As for Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Thrall's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Rogers has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .475. It's a different story for Thrall, though, as they've only averaged .322. Will they be able to contain Rogers' hitters?
Rogers beat Thrall 5-2 in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
