The Caro Tigers had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 64-52 victory over Sandusky. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Caro also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Caro was led to victory by Evan Langmaid and Connor McGarry. Langmaid scored 19 points along with 3 steals, while McGarry scored 29 points along with 6 rebounds. Julian Wilding was another key contributor, scoring 5 points along with 5 rebounds.
Caro's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Sandusky, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Caro will be playing in front of their home fans against Ubly at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sandusky, they will head out on the road to face off against Bad Axe at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
