The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks struggled with  three-point shooting accuracy on Thursday (the Falcon Falcons were 24% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Cheyenne Mountain had to suffer through a rough  50-21 loss at the hands of Falcon. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cheyenne Mountain in their matchups with Falcon: they've now lost nine in a row.
  Ainsley Norton was Cheyenne Mountain's leading scorer, having posted six points.  
 Lucy Trunnell held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.  Trunnell took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.
 Among those leading the charge was   Cierra Barbary, who  scored 10 points along with 7  blocks and 6  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kinley Black, who  scored 10 points.
 Cheyenne Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Falcon, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
 Cheyenne Mountain will take on Pueblo Central at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Falcon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pueblo East at 11:30  a.m.  on Saturday.
